Bio
I love working with children because they remind me to slow down, laugh a little more, stay curious, and see the world in ways adults sometimes forget. My own childhood taught me that children often have big feelings before they have the words to express them, and that experience is one of the reasons I feel so passionate about this work.
My background in community mental health, early childhood programs, and in-home services gave me the opportunity to support expectant parents, infants, young children, and their families. Those experiences shaped the way I approach my work and deepened my belief that children do best when they feel safe, connected, and understood.
One of my favorite parts of this work is helping parents see their child's behavior through a new lens. It's also incredibly rewarding to watch children begin to understand their feelings and find the words to express what's going on inside. Those moments often lead to deeper connection, more joyful moments together, and greater confidence in responding to what their child needs.
When I'm not in the therapy room, I love a good heated spin class, going to concerts, and spending time with my family and friends. Those are some of my favorite ways to recharge.
